Scholarship Information

Scholarships are awarded to qualified UMTYMP and Saturday Enrichment Program students who have a financial need, according to the Minnesota State Guidelines.

A total of $19,257 in tuition/fee scholarships were given to 29 UMTYMP students, 13 of whom were of Asian Pacific Islander descent, 1 of Hispanic descent, and 2 of African descent; 12 were female. In addition, 10 students were awarded graphing calculators worth $100 each.

MathCEP awarded $2,195 in scholarships to 18 Saturday Morning students, 7 of whom were of Asian Pacific Islander descent, and 1 of African descent; 10 were female. Sixteen of these scholarships were for 100% of the program fee.

In 2005, 4 summer students received partial merit-based scholarships from MathCEP totaling $300. Two summer students also received $600 through the ADC Foundation. These students were high-achieving students in need of financial aid.
